Banana Bars
1/2cbutter or margarinesoftened
1 1/2csugar
2largeeggs
8ozsour cream
1tsp.vanilla extract
2c.flour
1tsp. baking soda
1/4tsp.salt
2mediumripe bananasmashed
Cream Cheese Frosting
8ozcream cheese
1/2cbuttersoftened
2tsp.vanilla extract
4cpowdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Prepare the bars by creaming together butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter and sugar mixture; stir in the bananas.
Spread into a greased jelly roll pan (15"x10"x1") and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
Beat together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Add powdered sugar a 1/2 cup at a time. Frost the bars and store covered in the fridge. Enjoy!
