This was one of my very favorite product reviews I’ve done to date. (Big shocker there!) One of my favorie parts of Thanksgiving is the selection of yummy pies for dessert. This year was especially wonderful when I got to sample different Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish pies! My family members weren’t complaining about this either.
This year for Thanksgiving I took my husband and two kids to my aunt and uncle’s house in Idaho. We were there with my mom and some of my siblings, as well as grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles on my mom’s side. It was a wonderful feast and my aunt and uncle did such a good job and were gracious hosts.
Here comes my confession: The entire time I was eating, all I could think about was how I wanted to try these pies. I was so excited! We baked them at my mom’s house and I’m pretty sure I was drooling. After Thanksgiving dinner we cleaned up and relaxed for a little bit before breaking out the pies. There were eight pies placed on the kitchen counter. We were all in awe, staring at their beauty as we went back and forth in our minds deciding which we would try first.
My family members were excited to see these new pies I had brought for them to try! We sampled the Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce, Signature Deep Dish Cherry Pie with Butter Fudge Sauce, and Signature Deep Dish Peach Pie with Cream Cheese Icing. And you know I tried each and every one! (The fourth option was Signature Deep Dish Pumpkin Pie with Cream Cheese Icing, but stores were all out everywhere we looked. It must be a popular pie!)
All three of these pies were really something! Each had great flavor and texture, and we all loved the different topping options.

Cherry all the way baby!! Especially if it has chocolate! I’d get the mandolin slicer at Williams Sonoma because mine is getting dull

It would be a toss up between peach and pumpkin. As for Williams and Sonoma I have never shopped there but I would love a chance to remedy that.

I would get a dutch apple pie because it looks AMAZING and because the one I attempted to make for thanksgiving was a total FAIL. It tasted like bland fruit soup, surrounded by soggy pie crust…yuck!
