This week is National Diaper Week, and in honor of that I got to do something pretty cool.
A Huggies® study found that 1 in 3 moms in the United States struggle with providing their babies clean, dry diapers. That is a statistic that makes me so sad. I can’t imagine not being able to keep my kids in clean, dry diapers.
My love for Huggies® increased when I learned about the brand’s Every Little Bottom program. This program helps get diapers to babies in need, bringing smiles to moms in need all over the country. More than 80 million diapers have been donated to babies in need since the program was founded in 2010. Amazing!
My Experience
Here’s the cool part for me. Huggies® sent me four packages of diapers and I got to deliver them to our local diaper bank. It was a humbling experience. I had just dropped off my oldest to preschool and my 15 month old and I went over to the bank. I loaded up the baby and the diapers and we went inside. Two women sat behind the desk and I as I approached them I could see smiles appear on their faces.

First off, I had no idea that diaper banks existed. Second how cool of huggies to give those to you to give away. Third, I’d love to win to give these to someone in need. Fourth I learned that I need to listen to more classical music to calm my stress – even though I’m not a mom yet

I thint it is awesome that Huggies helped to launch the Diaper banks that work to eliminate diaper need by distributing free diapers through existing service agencies. Their goal is to ensure that every child has enough diapers to remain clean, dry and healthy.
