I’m headed to New York City for the week and I couldn’t be more excited! While I’m gone, seven of my favorite bloggers will be filling in on my blog and sharing summertime recipes.
The first of these fabulous bloggers is Karina from The Bucket List Girl. Her outlook on life and living everyday like it’s your last is inspiring. And I quote her in saying, “You don’t have to be old or sick to start your Bucket List!” Love it!!
I am SO excited to try the dessert Karina is sharing today! This looks like such a winner all the way around!

When it comes to my blog here is what I believe: You don’t have to be old or sick to start your Bucket List! The Bucket List Girl {Me} will show you how. I’m on a mission to inspire anyone to live everyday of your life like there is no tomorrow by starting a bucket list. I also own a fun Shop where I sell button earrings, hair accessories & more!
This yummy recipe is my go-to for summer parties:
I love summer time! The heat, the fresh fruits with COOL WHIP Whipped Topping and the yummy desserts I get to make for parties and barbecues. I’m all about quick and easy and that is exactly what this dessert is that I’m sharing with you today!
I’ve been wanting to make this recipe for a little while, and put it in a jar {Because we all know that putting dessert in a mason jar makes it taste even better ;)} Right? May I add that having COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in it makes it 10 times better! So please don’t skip that!
Chocolate Eclair Dessert – COOL WHIP Recipe:
-
3 cups milk
-
2 small packages instant vanilla pudding
-
1 package of chocolate frosting
-
8 oz. COOL WHIP
-
1 box of graham crackers
Extras: If you are making your dessert in a mason Jar you will need a Jar of some sort and ribbon or embellishments to decorate the outside.
Stir pudding mix and milk together and let set for 5 minutes. Fold in COOL WHIP. In a 9 x 13 pan layer graham crackers {I crumbled my graham crackers with my hand so that it would be a little bit smaller}. Then layer on 1/2 of the pudding mixture. Layer twice more and then spread frosting all over the top. Let set overnight or at least 3 hours.
If you are using a jar all you have to do is stack each layer until you reach the top! {I found this recipe online and unfortunately I cant find the original source}.
How fun would this recipe be for a birthday party or a Family barbecue? It will definitely save you some time. It also looks like you spend a lot of time on it when it will only take you about 20 mins the most.
I more tip: Leave it in your fridge for 24hrs for it the settle… It will have such a delicious taste I promise!
